The Monarchs will welcome back Scott Millward and Chris Timms to the side that dug deep and took the points back to the West Midlands. Steve Hodgkinson might be a doubt with his recent hand injury which happened at Kesgrave but no doubt the Smethwick rider will grin and bear it and take his place in the side.

Wednesfield Dragons make the trip looking to avenge the defeat earlier in the season at Ashmore Park. The Dragons will have top veteran rider Mick Aris as well as hard chargers Everiss, Haydn Rowley and Griffiths and will no doubt be looking to put one over the men in red and white.

This coming weekend will also see Monarchs riders in action as the Celtic Cup returns to Newport on the Saturday and Sunday sees the Midland Individual Riders Championships with various age categories will be in aciton going head to head at Ashmore Park.
