Birmingham Monarchs make the trip to Oxford and to the village as they take on last years Elite League champions.
Monarchs will be looking for a maiden in the top flight this season and the last couple of meetings will have given the Midlands side confidence as they have been able to field a full strength side which they have not been able to for different reasons.
The Birmingham duo of Timms and Winwood will be in the lineup fresh from the third place in the Open Club Championships at Hull today. Nathan Groves misses the meeting but Scott Millward will be in the squad to help bolster up. The Welsh pairing of Kieron Jones and Nicky Evans have been busy with Newport duties and lifting the regional title and so it remains to be seen if they will be in the side. Also the Coventry pair of Myke Grimes and Konrad Pietak looked strong in the fixture at home to Ipswich and Birmingham would be glad to see them in action on Sunday.
Horspath are currently second in the table and can still mathematically take the title though they need results to go their way. Mark Boaler will be leading a Hammers side that has strength throughout the one to eight. Boaler who made the British Finals will be joined by Mark Carmichael and Jack Harrold who both also made the final and are part of the winning Newport league winning side. Experience in Lewis Bates and Errol Thaw will be key to the Oxfordshire based side as well as Lukasz Nowacki a man who needs no introduction.
