Aces For A Third Time: Weekend Preview

By Sunday evening Birmingham and Wednesfield will be glad they will not have to face each other again as they will be sick of seeing each other!

Wednesfield make the trip to Perry Park as they take on the Monarchs in the Midland League. The racing starts at 1pm as Birmingham face the Aces then the Combination fixture then finally Wednesfield Dragons.

The sides look set to be the ones that faced each other in the corresponding fixture at Ashmore Park as the Aces came out winners as Birmingham then took the honours in the Combination and Dragons meetings.

Mark Winwood will be debuting his new machinery this weekend and the home side will be hoping that Mark will not be “christening” the bike on Sunday and it stays in one piece! Birmingham will be looking to the double over the Dragons on Sunday as the Aces will be looking to do likewise against the Perry Barr side.

A reminder that the meetings begin at 1pm at Perry Park and the fixture is free to watch and there will be food, refreshments and programmes on sale.
