This weekend Birmingham will be making the short trip to Ashmore Park as they take on Wednesfield in the Midland League.

Wednesfield Aces have a 100% record in the division so far and they will be looking to preserve that record this Sunday. Birmingham are welcome back Chris Timms after he missed last weekends Elite fixture to Horspath. The captain will have Nathan Groves and Mark Winwood as back up though there are question marks if Scott Millward will be riding due to an injury.

Wednesfield will have a strong look to them and also former Monarch Paul Heard in their ranks. The fixture will also have a second first team meeting as Birmingham will take on the newly formed Wednesfield Dragons. The Dragons have just a bonus point on the board so far this season and are just above Birmingham. After the Aces and Dragons will be the combination fixture which could feature a couple of newish faces in the Monarchs colours as Emily Pitt and Alex Atterbury have been impressing in training and the recent BYJL at Perry Park. For Birmingham it will be there second fixture in the Midland League as the Monarchs started the campaign back in March in the snow of East Park which feels ages ago now in the warmth and wet of June!
