Monarchs captain Chris Timms has been included in the Dash Trophies Midland Grand Prix meeting at Wednesfield on March 16th.
The event has a top field with 32 of the best riders doing battle. Last year Andy Angell, who went on to claim his second British title, took the honours by one point ahead of Timms, Marcus Wadhams and ex Monarch Paul Heard.
No doubt Chris will be looking to go one step further and begin the season with silverware for himself and Birmingham. Timms faces a tough semi final which begins at 1pm with the top eight advancing to the final. Internationals Heard, Harris and Rudman lie in his wake as well Aces riders who will feel at home at the Ashmore shale.
We will be track side on the day and will give a full report on how Chris does in the event.
