Birmingham Monarchs will begin the 2013 Elite League season at their adoptive home as they tackle Sheffield Stars.
The Monarchs will be racing at Sandwell in the Elite League this coming season due to worries that the facilities at Perry Park could force the midland side out of the top flight. The Elite season begins on April 14th as double British Champion Andy Angell and co will bring their Stars team down to battle with a new look Monarchs side.
Birmingham then face back to back trips to Poole and Ipswich then welcome champions Horpsath Hammers and local rivals Wednesfield Aces at home in the summer.
The British Open this year will be held in the midlands area with Coventry winning the vote and rumours have come out that Birmingham might be earmarked for the qualifying round, which if it is correct, Monarchs riders will be looking to use the home track as an advantage to gain a place in the prestigious final.
The full list of Elite League fixtures are on the fixture tab of the website with Midlands Leagues fixtures to be added once confirmed.
